1. Free trial
The 7-day trial is offered at no cost, with no payment method collected. There is no refund mechanism because you are not charged. If your trial expires and you choose not to upgrade, you simply lose access to paid-tier content.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you purchase Core, VIP, or Elite and decide within 14 calendar daysfrom the date of your initial payment that the program isn't the right fit, we will refund the amount you paid, in full, no questions asked. The 14-day window applies to your first purchase of any given plan.
To honor the guarantee, we ask that you make a genuine attempt to engage with the program (e.g., watch at least one Week 1 session and try a recipe or meal plan). We don't require proof — but we do reserve the right to deny obviously abusive refund requests where there is evidence of substantial download, redistribution, or repeat trial-and-refund behavior.
3. Installment plans
When you choose a three-payment installment plan, you pay one-third today and are charged the remaining two payments on the same day of each subsequent month. Two important rules apply:
- Cancel future payments anytime. Email hello@powerpause.health with subject “Cancel installments” before your next charge date and we will stop the remaining payments. Your access continues for the period already paid.
- 14-day window applies to your first payment. If you request a refund within 14 days of your first payment, we will refund what you have paid so far and cancel any future payments. After the 14-day window, future payments can still be cancelled, but already-paid amounts are non-refundable except as required by law.
4. How to request a refund
Send an email to:
- Address: hello@powerpause.health
- Subject:“Refund request” (or “Cancel installments”)
- Include: the email address you used at checkout and, if convenient, the receipt or Stripe transaction ID.
We confirm receipt within one business day and issue the refund within five business days.
5. Exceptions
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Requests made more than 14 days after the initial payment;
- Purchases where the account shows substantial download or redistribution of paid content;
- Repeat-trial-and-refund patterns across multiple accounts; and
- One-time add-ons or third-party products (none currently sold, but reserved for future).
If you live in a jurisdiction that grants stronger statutory refund rights (e.g., a 14-day cooling-off period under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations or Article 9 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive), those rights apply on top of this policy.
6. Processing time
Refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Stripe. Once we initiate the refund:
- Credit cards: typically 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- Debit cards: typically 7–14 business days.
- Bank-to-bank transfers / SEPA: up to 10 business days.
You will receive an automatic email from Stripe confirming the refund. If you don't see the funds after the expected window, contact your bank with the Stripe refund ID first; we can't expedite bank processing.
7. Chargebacks
Please email us before filing a chargeback with your bank. We almost always issue a refund on request within the 14-day window — chargebacks bypass our process and incur fees we'd rather not pay. Unwarranted chargebacks (especially after services have clearly been delivered) may result in account closure and a ban from future purchases. We document fulfillment, IP address, login history, and content access for chargeback responses.
